UHD SPAIN WILL ATTEND IBC SHOW 2022
UHD Spain, Spain’s association that promotes Ultra High Definition in Spain, continues its expansion plan and international projection during the second half of the year, with participation in the international trade show IBC 2022, which after two years returns to be held in situ, from 9 to 12 September at the RAI in Amsterdam, one of the main international exhibition and congress centers in Europe. A total of 14 UHD SPAIN members – including Agile Content, Ateme, Cellnex, Canon, CCMA, COITT, Dolby, Egatel, Fraunhofer, FORTA, Gsertel, Medina Media, Rohde & Schwarz, SAPEC, Tedial, Synamedia, and Video-MOS – will be attending the world’s most inspiring technology event, where the content, entertainment, and technology industry meets.
Agile Content, Ateme, Canon, Dolby, Egatel, Fraunhofer, Gsertel, Rohde & Schwarz, SAPEC, Tedial, and Synamedia will have a booth at this year’s IBC2022 where they will present the latest news, products, and innovative solutions to more than 250,000 professionals who will gather next weekend at the face-to-face event that will once again bring together exhibitors, speakers, visitors, and the entire global audiovisual community to network, open up business opportunities, discover the latest innovations and explore the world of content. Held since 1967, IBC attracts media, entertainment, and content creation professionals from around the world, with representatives from more than 150 countries.
Amsterdam’s trade show is focusing this year on “What’s Next? Designing the future together,” announced its new free Changemaker content program where it will feature a full slate of industry leaders and pioneers speaking on the most pressing media and entertainment (M&E) technology issues, developments and innovations.
IBC’s mission is to empower content by driving thought leadership and innovation in the global community. After two years in virtual format, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, exhibitors, speakers, and visitors are once again coming together at the Amsterdam RAI to unlock business opportunities, discover the latest innovations, and explore the exciting world of content together.
During the days of the event, members of UHD Spain arranged meetings to deliver copies of the first edition of the White Book of Ultra High Definition in Spain and to inform about the activities being organized by the association through its working groups (capture, post-production, encoding, broadcasting, reception, and audio) to promote UHD technology.
The next big event for UHD Spain will be the eighth edition of the 4K HDR Summit in Malaga from 14-18 November, where it will also hold its annual Assembly.
